Title IX at Tulane

The Title IX office is dedicated to fostering a university environment free from sex discrimination where all individuals can thrive. The office's work includes coordinating Tulane University's efforts to prevent and effectively respond to all forms of sex discrimination and sexual misconduct impacting community members, including sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sexual harassment, dating and domestic violence, and stalking. This work is done in compliance with applicable laws, including Title IX and the Violence Against Women Act, all of which are coordinated by the Assistant Provost for Title IX Compliance and Education. The Title IX Office also maintains the university’s comprehensive program designed to prevent sexual misconduct and remediate the effects of sexual misconduct on victims and the greater Tulane community.
